A major lesson Chris Price learned at BBC Radio 1 is that waiting for creative lightning to strike is not a strategy. In our kick-off session, Chris will share what he experienced and learned as part of the team that moved Radio 1 from a stagnant, insular station with declining ratings to an audience-focused innovation powerhouse peaking at over 10m listeners. After he wrapped at Radio 1, Chris translated those experiences to the world of MTV and as MTV UK's Head of Music achieved similar results. Chris is a firm believer in the power of freshness and innovation as a driver of reach, share and engagement.
